Is there a way to check whether I have the correct
gobject-introspection?
It's missing the gobject-introspection-1.0.pc file. I have no clue
where pclinuxos hides that. I tried to find something in synaptic but
its completely unfathomnable.
Could I do without?
Most likely. If make fails to install gexiv2.vapi, you can just
manually copy it.
