Thank you very much indeed. Some time ago I browsed the diff of yours
and the official, which was taken a couple of years ago, but I gave up
to "decipher" the C part of it, so I understand:

Right now, we'd like to make a release in a month or two, and there're
only 2 who work regularly (the other is Chris.), but after it's done,
I'd like to begin to merge your fixes to the trunk.

We'll be going to ask you much. You may well know it, but don't sacrifice
yourself. Have fun!

Yeah, this is a faq. Chris knows a few other people who like to
do it (in guile?).  At least 3 have be dedicated in it. (I don't speak
Scheme at all, and we have a long list of todos.  See the "proposed
goals" page in our Wiki.)

Do you mean you understand WM - configurator interaction fairly well?

?? The transition will never finish that early. The schedule doesn't
matter for Scheme transition.

Michal seems to understand Sawfish quite well, maybe best in the world
now, but some Sawfish features are not documented.

If it isn't feasible, obviously it's out of question. If it is, then
I'll be glad. But believe me, X is a beast, and it'll be tough. I think
it's best to translate faithfully the Sawfish's code in order to avoid
hidden mines. But Sawfish does have its own idiosyncrasy, and outdated
parts. ;)
