I'd have to download the sources, modify the compile arguments then install 
and test. I've already lost a lot of productive time to this problem just 
now, so given I've got a workaround I'll leave it just now. If I get a chance 
to do this I'll report back on the results. Sorry not to be more helpful in 
return for the help offered, but as I say I've already lost working hours on 
finding a workaround.
