6) + 7) If I haven't enough space (eg for The GIMP) I simply hit the
edge and the VP is "increased". As far as I can see (haven't checked the
code) ID simply moves everything not marked as ignored or avoided, to
fake increase the size of the VP, That's ok. But the steps need to be
changeable, as it damn slow with current setup. After ID/EF/WS/VP are
reworked the way it will be decided, I also would like to merge the
drag-desktop into ID, as it would make it more complete (not just fake
increasing by hitting the edge, also by moving the root-window)

Well, if you got a patch for this -as an optional feature- then you can
get it in :)
