Actually, the above does create a configure script, but both

./configure --prefix=/home/fetchinson/tmp/sawfish

and

./configure --prefix=/home/fetchinson/tmp/sawfish
--with-rep-prefix=/home/fetchinson/tmp/sawfish

fail with the following (I've installed librep to /home/fetchinson/tmp/sawfish):

./configure: line 19698: syntax error near unexpected token `LIBREP,'
./configure: line 19698: `PKG_CHECK_MODULES(LIBREP, librep >= $REP_MIN_VER'

By the way, I did export export
PKG_CONFIG_PATH=/home/fetchinson/tmp/sawfish/lib/pkgconfig

Any ideas? It would be great to have the newest sawfish, currently I'm
still running the latest JH version 1.3

Cheers,
Daniel
