  I'm guessing you are not running a normal desktop session? I'm
saying this cause this only happens when XDG standard dirs are not
defined and thats always defined in a normal freedesktop (gnome or
kde) environment. Anyway, just `apt-get install xdg-user-dirs' and run
xdg-user-dirs-update (or re-login).
