With the new libimobiledevice lib you can mount the iphone4 with iOS
4.1 but music syncing does NOT work with rhythmbox since libgpod
hasn't implemented this functionality yet. I haven't read on if
firmware updates work using this route as I haven't tried.
Hopefully libgpod will have an iphone4 with 4.1 iOS update with music
syncing soon!
