If I understand you right, it seems like what should really happen is that RB stops breaking podcast subscriptions.

No, I  need to import all feeds from one "backup" file (opml), like liferea. This file storage all feed links. Its a "backup" too.

Not to resist this feature request, but why do you import your feeds every time you upgrade?
