For this to work, we'd need to support "persistent naming" of tracks on
DAAP shares. Tracks having a persistent id is part of the DAAP spec, and
I assume that iTunes supports it, but I'm not sure if other DAAP servers
do (we certainly don't).
Handling persistent ids of tracks would also give us some other things,
like the ability to rate and store last-played times for tracks.

In theory this should work - I've extracted directly from an audio cd to
a "generic" audio player before. Do you get any kind of error when you
try?
