I attached a typescript logging this process: Start rhythmbox Hibernate Try to play a song Run gdb and ask for backtrace kill rhythmbox exit gdb Also of interest might be that I am running Ubuntu LTS (Dapper Drake) which installs rhythmbox version: 0.9.3.1-0ubuntu9.
