[Rhythmbox-devel] rhythmbox hangs with high pitch tone

I'm using RB 0.9.6 and just this morning.  while playing music the RB
UI will hang and the speakers emit a constant high pitched tone until
I kill RB.  Sometimes the tone will sound just briefly and the playing
continues but eventually it will come back and hang with the tone.

I'm relatively sure this is a gstreamer problem as totem does it too
although totem never hangs.  It just has intermittent tones and keeps
playing.

Has anyone ever heard of this? Thanks.
