I tried to build this and autogen.sh said:
1) Please add the files
codeset.m4 gettext.m4 glibc21.m4 iconv.m4 isc-posix.m4 lcmessage.m4
progtest.m4
from the /usr/share/aclocal directory to your autoconf macro directory
or directly to your aclocal.m4 file.
I copied all of these files from /usr/share/aclocal to the
rb-source-dir/macros except isc-posix.m4 which I don't have on my
system. Where can I get this.
2) You will also need config.guess and config.sub, which you can get from
ftp://ftp.gnu.org/pub/gnu/config/.
I copied these from the location pointed to at that url but this
message persists.
...
3) You should update your 'aclocal.m4' by running aclocal.
Putting files in AC_CONFIG_MACRO_DIR, 'macros'.
Running aclocal-1.7...
aclocal: configure.ac: 915: macro `AM_PATH_CHECK' not found in library
I've been unable to find an explanation of what this means on google.
4) I bring all this up because make fails with this:
make[4]: *** No rule to make target
`../../plugins/audioscrobbler/audioscrobbler-ui.xml', needed by
`all-am'. Stop.
make[4]: Leaving directory
`/home/jorussel/tmp/rhythmbox-0.9.6.90/plugins/audioscrobbler'
make[3]: *** [all] Error 2
make[3]: Leaving directory
`/home/jorussel/tmp/rhythmbox-0.9.6.90/plugins/audioscrobbler'
make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/jorussel/tmp/rhythmbox-0.9.6.90/plugins'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/jorussel/tmp/rhythmbox-0.9.6.90'
make: *** [all] Error 2
which may have to do with the autogen.sh errors.
Anyone know what's going on here?
Running up to date gentoo. Thanks.
John

What's up, Doc? (Sorry, had to.)
Is your recent work on gapless playback in here?
