Yes, that's probably a bit weird.. although.. it's not really a status
rea, rather it indicates the 'contents' of the view - the same thing is
done in evolution (not that that is a good example, but hey).

The HIG says for background loading processes not blocking app usage we
should just use the arrow with the busy cursor..
That should indicate enough IMHO.
