[Rhythmbox-devel] Error when trying to play mp3s

The file can be played successfully by $ madplay /path/to/file.mp3

$ gst-launch-ext /path/to/file.mp3

Any ideas>?

I seems that gstreamer does recognize my mad installation, mad, rb and
gstreamer are all installed to ~/garnome-0.21.2
