That looks like a fine description of the current setup.

I wonder if it would be clearer to change "Core Utilities" to "Core
Apps", or even to split them out into a new moduleset
(gnome-core-apps).

That might make sense, also considering that we just added core/core
apps/apps as doap categories.

Also, while we're on the subject, the word "suites"
in "gnome-suites-core" and "gnome-suites-core-deps" always confused
the hell out of me. It makes it sound like each moduleset contains
different suites that you can install...

I'm with you on this, the suites are just odd an annoying.
