Ooh, more than I expected. Cool. Sorry if I came across as
doubting you, it's just that since we can't be experts on everything,
providing other kinds of assurances of correctness or importance assist
us a lot in doing approval/rejection of patches. Because we often
get requests where people haven't done this kind of extra testing and
review, we assume that it hasn't been done unless otherwise explicitly
stated (and we especially tend to do so for short emails that don't
summarize the information requested at
http://developer.gnome.org/dotplan/tasks.html for freeze breaks but
make us go find it). So, just state it and you'll find us
approving more patches and doing so more quickly.
Thanks for being so thorough,
Elijah
