Re: [orca-list] Problems with eSpeakup in Arch

Hello,
espeakup is supposed to run as root when run as a service with systemd.
So the systemd service starts it up, it does not fail but does not speak?
If you run
systemctl restart espeakup
is it the same?

Greetings

Peter

Now I found out that I can start Espeakup as root if it isn't enabled as
service:

espeakup --default-voice=de

I allso edited the Espeakup.service.

[honecker@Honecker ~]$ systemctl status espeakup
