Thanks Matthew that worked perfectly.
Does anyone know if there's an open issue for this that I can add my
support to?
I'm assuming at some point the mainstream distributions like Fedora will
drop support for Xorg, so if we haven't got all the Wayland
accessibility bugs sorted out by then we'll be stuck!

Nick

Hi Nick.
To get the installer working, just open a terminal and type passwd then enter. This will ask you to enter a
password for live. Type what you want to use and confirm and this will set a password for the live system.
Now go to the top bar and under the system menu, there is an option to logout and gdm should come up and
starting orca and select xorg and login with the password you set. Now the installer should work fine.
Another aulternitive is to use the fedora mate installer which is the same thing then once installed you can
then install gnome using sudo dnf install gnome and setting gnome as the default desktop and this should
work. HTH.

Subject: [orca-list] Problems installing Fedora Workstation 36
Hi all,
Firstly apologies if this has been discussed already.
I'm trying to do a fresh install of Fedora 36.
I can boot the live image and get Orca running, however as soon as I
select "Install to hard drive", Orca goes silent.
Is the Fedora installer no longer accessible or am I missing something?
If the standard graphical installer is no longer accessible are there
any other ways to install Fedora?
Thanks,
Nick
