The behavior you experience seems to be related to a long-time problemI'm having with Firefox and MATE specifically. If I'm in focus mode andI receive a notification, focus mode is turned off without even lettingme know that it is now off. So as I type, letters that I should betyping suddenly begin performing structural navigation functions. Idon't seem to have this trouble with Chrome-based browsers.
