would it be possible to have a sleep mode for apps?
That was a big wish I wrote to the list a few weeks ago, this would
really be a very nice and helpfull feature.
but with orca would it be possible to have a sleep mode where not only
would the app be muted via orca but any events gennerated by the
application would be discarded by orca untill you press a key combo to
remove the sleep mode?
Yes, thats also the way I would a sleep mode expect to work. Speeach
output can already be muted by an application profile, but it is not
yet possible to stop keystrokes beeing interpreted by orca.
I am using a virtualized Windows with virtviewer from time to time and
having a sleep mode activated via the application profile for virtviewer
would also be very helpfull because keystrokes I need for screen reader
inside the VM would not colide with orca shortcuts.
Thanks for bringing up this eally helpfull feature wish, I really hope
it could be implemented.
Ciao,
Schoepp
