Re: [orca-list] what's the story with talking manjaro?

I checked out that sourceforge page and found no files section. There was
a releases link but that only took me to rss file which was inappropriate
to download as an iso and since manjaro won't talk even before
installation I have no clue how to access that rss content with manjaro.

It's on Sourceforge, first result for Talking Manjaro in your favorite search
engine. I did see something about it being an official part of Manjaro as
well, too.

Hello,

and where can I download talking manjaro? Has it some oficial web site? I
know, I could find by Google, but I am afraid of viruses or unoficial sites.

Thanks.

Best regards

Hello there,

The only way to install talking Manjaro is to start the architect installer
on the desktop.

Since Talking Manjaro uses the Mate desktop, pressing ctrl+alt+D, will
bring you to the desktop.

Pressing down arrow, you'll find Manjaro architect installer, or something
like that. Press enter, and voila.

Just keep in mind you have to have an active internet connection to be able
to install it.

Best regards.

Francisco

The story with Talking Manjaro is that it's another one of these things
with the octopus for an installer. This thing is known to be
inaccessible.  Unless there's a text-mode installer, we can't install it
eyes-free. Doesn't anyone do even the most-basic testing before announcing
these distros, especially as being "talking"?

Cheers,

Dave

Is that a specific iso to download or a set of commands to run on the
gnome edition or mate edition to get a screen reader verbal?
