Re: [orca-list] what's the story with talking manjaro?

Hello there,

The only way to install talking Manjaro is to start the architect installer on the desktop.

Since Talking Manjaro uses the Mate desktop, pressing ctrl+alt+D, will bring you to the desktop.

Pressing down arrow, you'll find Manjaro architect installer, or something like that. Press enter, and voila.

Just keep in mind you have to have an active internet connection to be able to install it.

Best regards.

The story with Talking Manjaro is that it's another one of these things with the octopus for an installer. This thing is known to be inaccessible.  Unless there's a text-mode installer, we can't install it eyes-free.  Doesn't anyone do even the most-basic testing before announcing these distros, especially as being "talking"?

Cheers,

Is that a specific iso to download or a set of commands to run on the
gnome edition or mate edition to get a screen reader verbal?
