Hello Daniel, Mint is just like Ubuntu, so apt is the same. IN order to enable repositories, like univers, multyvers etc, open the /etc/apt/sources.list file with your text editor, and edit the file as you wish. If you want the gui way, install synaptic with Sudo apt install synaptic, that will do it. Sent from Mail for Windows 10 From: Daniel McGee via orca-list Hi all So I've given mint mate a try and quite like it. Before fully commiting though, how do I go about installing apps on mint mate. In particular 1password and Dropbox? I was able to figure this out, on ubuntu mate, by installing the: ubuntu software Centre via a command in the terminal to enable it. Thus by doing so, found my essential apps that I needed. Using mint mate though, I'm at a loss how to proceed. So any advice in this area would be much appreciated. Liking the: out of box experience of mint though. Plus it seems a little snappier than Ubuntu mate. _______________________________________________ orca-list mailing list orca-list gnome org https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/orca-list Orca wiki: https://wiki.gnome.org/Projects/Orca Orca documentation: https://help.gnome.org/users/orca/stable/ GNOME Universal Access guide: https://help.gnome.org/users/gnome-help/stable/a11y.html |
