Hi Alexander.

Sorry for the delay, but I really needed to take some time off. 2020.
Good riddance! <smiles>

Anyhoo, Orca master now spews out all sorts of things regarding
braille. If you're still having trouble, please pull it and let's see
what we can figure out.

hay Joanie. sorry for long silence from me.
when i running orca --debug i see this:
20:19:13.696616 - BRAILLE: Contracting 'Screen reader on.' with table
/usr/share/liblouis/tables/ru.ctb
20:19:13.697018 - BRAILLE: Refresh. Pan: True target: 0
20:19:13.697037 - BRAILLE: Last text obj: None (Caret: 0, Line: 0, Cell: 0)
20:19:13.697049 - BRAILLE: Current text obj: None (Caret: 0, Line: 0).
On same line: False
20:19:13.697069 - BRAILLE: Line 0: 'Screen reader on.' focusOffset: 0
[[0, 17]]
20:19:13.697077 - BRAILLE: Cursor offset in line string is: -1
20:19:13.697085 - BRAILLE: Current range: (0, 80). Target cell: 0.
20:19:13.697095 - BRAILLE LINE:  'Screen reader on.'
20:19:13.697155 -      VISIBLE:  'Screen reader on.', cursor=0
so table is write one. but on the display i don't see this.
if i use different table, for example en-ueb-g2 I see this:
20:32:48.453432 - BRAILLE: Contracting 'Screen reader on.' with table
/usr/share/liblouis/tables/en-ueb-g2.ctb
20:32:48.453723 - BRAILLE: Refresh. Pan: True target: 0
20:32:48.453736 - BRAILLE: Last text obj: None (Caret: 0, Line: 0, Cell: 0)
20:32:48.453743 - BRAILLE: Current text obj: None (Caret: 0, Line: 0).
On same line: False
20:32:48.453756 - BRAILLE: Line 0: ',scre5 r1d} on4' focusOffset: 0 [[0,
15]]
20:32:48.453760 - BRAILLE: Cursor offset in line string is: -1
20:32:48.453765 - BRAILLE: Current range: (0, 80). Target cell: 0.
20:32:48.453772 - BRAILLE LINE:  ',scre5 r1d} on4'
20:32:48.453819 -      VISIBLE:  ',scre5 r1d} on4', cursor=0
my display output is different but I am not sure is it en-ueb-g2 or not.
can you try ru table? for example dot(.) simble would be single 3 dot
razed. for me dot simble is dots2568
this is because the internal Russian table in brltty is used.
Thanks!
--joanie
