I've had google meet conferences get bombed. Another conferencing
possibility, and its accessibility is steadily improving, is discord.
The desktop app and web interface are both quite good; Use something
chrome-like for best results on Discord web.

I mean, Zoom-bombing isn't a phenomenon limited to Zoom. See:
https://arstechnica.com/information-technology/2021/02/zoombombing-countermeasures-are-ineffective-in-the-vast-majority-of-cases/
Takeaways:
1. Lots of zoom-bombing incidents are internal to the group, not
external.
2. As such, setting a password doesn't necessarily work because
zoom-bombers already have that.
3. Likewise, using waiting rooms don't work because insiders either
join as usual, or tell the outsider which names they might get away with.
4. The only real mitigation is for each participant to get a custom
link, then you'd at least know who leaked a credential to a
zoom-bomber. And given Jitsi's "here's a link, join the meeting"
approach, they're basically not using the only mitigation
countermeasure with any chance of making an impact.
Don't get me wrong--I like Jitsi and want it to succeed. I'm also not
a big fan of Zoom. But I also like participating in video conferences
where they are relevant to me personally or professionally. So please
don't throw out a solid, accessible contender based on a kneejerk
reaction against Zoom-bombing. In an alternate universe, open source
would have won, and we'd be talking about how to prevent Jitsi-bombing.

zoom bombing so far cannot be prevented on that platform, so that may
be a good reason to avoid zoom until zoom either gets that problem
fixed or the app itself gives up and fails.

Jitsi accessibility seems to have improved in the last few months.
Can't speak to the accessibility of the native app, but my last
browser tests seemed to indicate lots more labels and improved
keyboard accessibility to buttons.
You'll probably want to use it with Chrome or a Chrome-based browser
for the moment, as I think there are still a few rough edges for
Firefox.
Also, depending on how you feel about Zoom, I think the
browser-based meeting interface was fairly accessible when last I
checked. The native Linux app left some things to be desired, but if
you jump through the hoops to enable it, you and others can use the
HTML 5 interface to host and attend meetings.

Hello all
Any recommendations out there for video chat apps that one could
use with
orca in an accessible way?
Using Ubuntu Mate 20.4 LTS with the Ubuntu software center installed.
Many thanks
Daniel
