Hello, Í've skimmed its docs and it appears it ocr's the portion of the screen you have to first mark using the mouse. Greetings P 19. 9. 2020 10:33:02 Vojtěch Polášek via orca-list <orca-list gnome org>:
Hi, I have also stumbled upon this software, DPScreenOCr, it is probably quite new and I haven't played with it yet. But maybe someone has time and let us know the results. https://danpla.github.io/dpscreenocr/ Vojta Dne 15. 09. 20 v 1:37 Ted via orca-list napsal(a):Thank you! The development version did the trick. ?Howdy Ted, i use ArchLinux as well, so its developed under that system. But i think i know your issue. Did you install ocrdesktop from AUR? If so, please install ocrdesktop-git as the Development version. I did not (yet) install a stable version what works with tesseract 4.x API. But the Development Version works quite well there. I keep ( or better i always try) to keep it stable. Install that, and bind it to a hotkey in your Desktop Environment. That should do the trick. Sorry for that. I try to release a stable soon. _______________________________________________ orca-list mailing list orca-list gnome org https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/orca-list Orca wiki: https://wiki.gnome.org/Projects/Orca Orca documentation: https://help.gnome.org/users/orca/stable/ GNOME Universal Access guide: https://help.gnome.org/users/gnome-help/stable/a11y.html_______________________________________________ orca-list mailing list orca-list gnome org https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/orca-list Orca wiki: https://wiki.gnome.org/Projects/Orca Orca documentation: https://help.gnome.org/users/orca/stable/ GNOME Universal Access guide: https://help.gnome.org/users/gnome-help/stable/a11y.html
