Hi Robert.
I just tried this with Orca master and Firefox nightly and am not
seeing the problem on the wikipedia site or the tutorial site.
What versions of Orca and Firefox are you using? And does the problem
always happen and with all lines with links or just sometimes happen?

Huh. So that sounds like a bug. I'll investigate. Thanks!

I checked,
I did not disable Layout mode.
Stopping at links when using the carot navigation is kind of
default
for all websites.
and it also does not read the text after the link
i.e. this Wikipedia site:

The tutorial I was reading was:

I am using Debian 10

1. start Firefox.
2. press control+Orca+Space bar to start Orca preferences for
Firefox.
3. Arrow-Left to land on the Firefox tab.
4. press about 8 times Tab to land on the checkbox for enable
Layout
mode.
5. press Space bar to check or uncheck this option.

It's on the Firefox page in Orca's app-specific preferences.
For
further help please ask on the Orca list. Thanks!

Hi Robert.
By default, Orca reads line by line and shouldn't stop at
links
unless
the link is at the end of the line or formatted in such a way
that it
appears to be a different line.
If you disabled layout mode, however, Orca would stop at
links
(and
other objects).
If you did not disable layout mode, would it be possible to
provide a
link to the tutorial?
Thanks!

Is there a setting to let it read on over links?
I am reading a tutorial and want to be able to read line
by
line.
Thanks,
Robert
