Hi again,
hmm, this is quite interesting. I have just tried it again with the
desktop app, setting ACCESSIBILITY_ENABLED=1 and launching with
skypeforlinux --force-renderer-accessibility and surprisingly, it works
now.
Its weird, as I can swear it didn't work the last time I tried. May be
I have mistyped the flag or something like that.
Anyway, status update, it works. :)

Insider version is not needed, I have installed Skype according to
tutorial:
https://linuxize.com/post/how-to-install-skype-on-ubuntu-18-04/
It wasn't exactly thisone, but the process is the same. I didn't know
at that time that Skype was available with Snap, but it works, so I'm
not complaining. :)
