Personally I think it is a good idea. I do lots of fresh installations on laptops for sighted people with the great help of Orca and it is not always easy to find the Insert key while the Caps lock always can be found.

Joanie requested to me to ask you about changing the default keyboard layout of Orca from the desktop one to the laptop one.
If we do this, your currently keyboard layout will not change.
When you turn on a new computer with a fresh profile, you will have by default the laptop keyboard layout with the caps lock key as orca modifier.
What do you think about it?
