Hi, Nimer:
Glad to hear you're among those who are succeeding with the new Oralux
Vocalizer voices on Linux. Some of us aren't so fortunate because the
installation makes assumptions about one's environment that are
unwarranted.
So, what Linux did you install on? What platform succeeded for you?
I'm unable to install on Arch. The error messages aren't very helpful.
Best,
Janina
Orca screen reader developers writes:
Hello,
This is a review of Vocalizer from Oralux.org
So far, I have been using two voices that I purchased. Both are very
responsive, both seem to be working well, and I am glad to have more
options of high-quality TTS voices for Orca, particularly when reading
longer documents/books and such.
If you are with Oralux and are reading this message, thank you so much for
bringing these voices to Linux!
