Re: [orca-list] Can we prepend, not prepend and append, newlines when a line is added to the clipboard?

Super awesome! Merged. Hopefully everyone will be good with this change. I plan to roll the beta release some time tomorrow.

OK, done I hope. Ugh, GitLab needs a web accessibility person on staff.

How about this:

orca/src/orca/script_utilities.py has the following method: _appendTextToClipboardCallback()

Please play with it until it does what you want with respect to spaces. Then open a merge request in Gitlab with a patch with the desired changes. If it's sane I'll commit and and you'll be happy. Deal? :)

Sorry, I know we kicked this around a while back, but it really is becoming a pain point. I can't copy-paste text into bug reports because Orca now puts it all on a single line, so I have to manually go back through and break up the lines. Ideally we can switch to using start/end markers one day, but until then, can we please only prepend a new line, rather than prepending and appending one, when text is appended to the clipboard? That should eliminate the final newline, while still supporting the use case of copy-pasting text into bug reports and not having to break up 20 lines of backtrace. :)

Thanks.
