I'm sorry, I accidentally replied to sender only with the espeak-ng
results. Both have normal pronunciations. The spd-say result was sent to
the whole Orca list.

Hello,
Is spd-say one also sound as it should for you?
spd-say -l en "123 S 99ST"
I've just noticed a similar issue with speech-dispatcher and slovak
voice but I can't yet find out what might be causing it.
Plain espeak is working fine for me with a particular string while
spd-say is adding some extra punctuation marks to the output.
I can't find an english string of text so it would be easier for an
email list discussion.
Greetings
Peter

espeak -v en "123 S 99ST" also sounds like a correct pronunciation.
