Hi Vojta.
In short: I don't think you yourself can repair it.
We need one of two things to happen:
1. The browsers detect this sort of authoring and stop emitting over one
thousand accessibility events per second for the duration of the page
being opened.
2. The authors of the page stop doing whatever it is they are doing to
trigger these vast number of ongoing updates.
Failing that, you might be able to work around it by disabling
JavaScript for that site, but that might render the site in question
unusable in a different way.
As far as the Orca side of things is concerned: Orca has to pay
attention to the types of events in question because those events are
needed to provide access to basic things like you writing an email or
doing a web search. Orca is already working hard to detect floods and
duplicate events and ignore them.
I'm really sorry! Hopefully the problem will get fixed soon!

Hello,
how can I repair it? I haven't got any experiences with this.
Thanks.

Joanmarie Diggs napsal(a):
Confirmed. Something about that page's authoring is flooding Orca.

Hi all,
Bit of a strange one that I'm hoping someone can help with:
The web site www.vesternet.com is a web shop that sells smart home
products.
The home page loads fine, however whenever you go to a product page,
Firefox freezes and my CPU fan goes crazy.
Any product will do, such as this one:
https://www.vesternet.com/collections/starter/products/samsung-smartthings-hub-v3
Does anyone else see the same issue, and any idea what's causing it?
Without Orca running I can't hear any increase in my CPU fan, so it
sounds like its something accessibility related that causes the issue.
Thanks,
Nick
