Sure.
Debian is professional distribution. But I do not know, how to setup The
system so it will not produce so much heat on my Toshiba Laptop L650 series.
Only Ubuntu and Knoppix contain some setting which denie The system to
produce so much heat. More than 56 degress Celsius. So fan blow at The speed
number 2.
Knoppix contain some special process related to Acpi, which run at The
background.
But even Debian firmware image do not solve my little issue with heat. And I
have other big problem with Debian.
Installer do not support EFI systems as it should.
First of all, installer do not allow users to manually specify The device
name is target machine is UEFI based system. As A result, I have finished
with non functioning installation when I have installed on external USB
harddisk.
When I have installed on MBR based system, installer allow user to manually
specify device for adding GRUB so boot sequence work.
But I have other problem. Pulseaudio, Speech-dispatcher and Espeakeng
Speech-dispatcher driver.
Really, produces background sounds when I have set speech speed to 100.
Sure. Users who love or speak English can use Mbrola, Festival or Pico TTS
or Cicero and there is not such problem.
But for Czech language, there are three various synthesizers.
Espeak, Mbrola two very small databases for male and female Czech voices and
Festival voice, which sound as a robot.
Mbrola can produce excellent quality voices, but sample database must be big
and must be recorded at The studio. There are some German voices for Mbrola
which sounds excellently.
Mbrola do not produce noise sounds egven with Pulseaudio. But making new
Speech-dispatcher driver for Espeak is not very easy. C language experiences
are required to make it better.
