Hi,
On Debian Sid, Orca Master, Firefox 60.5.1esr
I'm not sure there is anything that can be done for this, but I'll still
mention it in case there is: when visiting e.g.
https://www.nextinpact.com/news/107683-relaxe-apres-avoir-injurie-tiers-par-mail.htm
Orca and Firefox start consuming about 50% of my CPU.
The "problem" seems to be that Firefox continuously sends
object:children-changed:add:system, object:text-changed:insert:system,
object:children-changed:remove:system and
object:text-changed:delete:system events (probably due to the page
itself editing itself continuously for some reason, although I don't see
it visually).
I don't know if there's much that can be done, but it's fairly annoying
as it gets Orca quite slow, and when I have many other things going on
in Firefox, sometimes Firefox gets stuck long enough for Orca to give up.
I'm thus wondering whether something couldn't be optimized here? Let's
dream :) If you think Firefox could do something better, we could
forward that there as well.
I can provide a debug log, but I doubt mine is more interesting than
anyone else's, and it's quite big with all those events.
Regards,
Colomban
