Hey Jean-Philippe. Response inline.

I did the above three steps
4. Tab twice or three times. When you arrive on the first
setting/choice, the braille tends to disappear.
The first Tab press brought me to Extensions & Themes. The second Tab
press brought me to Nightly Support. Since you said the first
setting/choice, I Tabbed again. That brought me to Find in Preferences.
It's not a setting, but it appeared to be brailled correctly. I Tabbed
yet again and landed on "Use the address bar for search and navigation"
(a radio button). Braille seemed correct. I then arrowed down once to
the "Add search bar in toolbar" radio button. Also seemed correct. I
resumed tabbing to the default search engine. That was presented in
speech and in braille. The checkboxes after that were also presented in
speech and braille. After that, there's a "one-click search engines"
list was also presented in speech and braille, though changing their
state isn't presented at all -- neither in speech nor in braille. More
missing events. <insert sigh here> Guess I'll file yet another bug.
Anyhoo, I've gone through the entire Search panel and had the braille I
would expect. So.... Thank you for your specificity. Being specific
helps a lot. But in this particular case I'm afraid I need another hint
as to what I'm looking for. Sorry and thanks again!
