Your comment got me thinking. It seems that this misspelled behavior cannot be replicated in Libreoffice, but it does happen in firefox. But Orca can identify misspelled words in firefox, just doesn't announce them while typing. Hmm, thanks for this, this helps narrow it down a bit.
