You are right, although it is better to tell windows to use utc time. You can find info on google what registry key to set to make windows use utc, i do not remember. Using local timezone for rtc on linux side is not anymore recommended. W dniu 31.05.2018 o 17:17, Milton pisze:
Hi, In a terminal type or copy / paste the following: timedatectl set-local-rtc 1 press Enter. Please somebody correct me if I am wrong. It forces me to change the system time in Windows 10 each time I use Windows. Unfortunately, doing so forces me to change the time in Ubuntu when starting it up again. Is there any way to stop clock wars with Ubuntu and Windows? _______________________________________________ orca-list mailing list orca-list gnome org https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/orca-list Orca wiki: https://wiki.gnome.org/Projects/Orca Orca documentation: https://help.gnome.org/users/orca/stable/ GNOME Universal Access guide: https://help.gnome.org/users/gnome-help/stable/a11y.html Log bugs and feature requests at http://bugzilla.gnome.org_______________________________________________ orca-list mailing list orca-list gnome org https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/orca-list Orca wiki: https://wiki.gnome.org/Projects/Orca Orca documentation: https://help.gnome.org/users/orca/stable/ GNOME Universal Access guide: https://help.gnome.org/users/gnome-help/stable/a11y.html Log bugs and feature requests at http://bugzilla.gnome.org
