You can try installing chromevox. I posted an installation
instructions in this list. If you wish, I can send you via email

Your steps are correct, but I'm not getting the instantaneous
performance. I will try firefox in safe mode to see if that makes
a difference. It could be that ubuntu is using an old version of
ff, but I can't see that making too much of a difference. This
works just fine on herdOs (windows) with chrome and NVDA, but I
can't test on chrome for linux because orca can't read it.

Perhaps you would like to try with Firefox in safe mode and

firefox, with some issues. You need an account to play, but it

slow. I'm not sure if this can be fixed in orca, but to try to
