Re: [orca-list] Where to find auto talking Arch?

You couldn't update anything without current gpg keys, as root
equivalent I would edit /etc/apt/sources.list and get the correct lines
in it for buster and then run apt-get --dist-upgrade and go from there.

It may sound stupid to ask, but what kind of system update should I do? My
last major update was from jessie to stretch last fall, but I've pretty well
kept up with the package updates since then. I've never established pg keys,
so unless my system did it by some default I doubt I have any. (Note: no
where more than here does my ignorance shine!)

Since the original Talking Arch was mentioned in this thread, I tried to
see
what the latest release was there. I don't know if what's wrong is on my
end
or on the site, but below is what I got.

??? Hey all, trying this in vbox and....nothing happens. Is it only
working
on
actual hardware or did I just not wait long enough, I fire up a VM with
it
on,
nada, no display, no speech, this is using virtualbox so I'm not sure if
I
broke it or if it's just not a fan of virtualbox.

I infer that I can't use it as a live DVD, that it goes straight into
install
mode. Is that correct, thus the "auto"? Thanks!

get
an installed system of your choice on that hard drive and you remove

auto-installs, they'll be far more easy to instal than is
talkingarch.

Hi,

2 years ago, someone posted information about Auto talking Arch to
the
Orca
list. The link was:

https://copy.com/XStZ6r7HLunN9jF0

but the service copy.com was discontinued. I can't find any home
page
for
this
project, I know talking arch, but I want to try this distro. Do
someone
know
status of auto talking Arch?

Thanks,

Pavel
