Hi All,
Thank you to those of you who have replied.
Sorry my questions are vague but I aren’t really sure where to start.
I have heard of ubuntu and would mainly be using mail, some kind of equivalent to Word, internet explorer and 
an audio editing software like audacity. I also need something like NVDA speech as I am blind.
