Hi Joannie,

i figured out with debian testing i have the issue as well.
it boots but then when it wants to boot gnome you can hear orca saying
screen reader on but then stops talking.
this is on a installed debian testing which i have installed from the CLI.

so i wonder what this is caused by.
the x server or gnome.

i talked to the wayland team and according to them this shouldn't be a
problem using wayland. the wayland adapter for gnome needs a change to
accept screenless boots.
