Hello,I think this is now fixed. Reading messages now works fine with Thunderbird 45.7.1 built against GTK3. Also focus vs browse mode switching is working as I expect it to.
Unfortunatelly I am still preparing debug out files for my issue happening while writing messages
Thanks and greetings Peter . On 02/23/2017 11:12 AM, Joanmarie Diggs wrote:
Hey Peter. I hope I have fixed the issues below within Orca master. Mind testing? Thanks! --joanie On 02/22/2017 11:09 AM, Peter Vágner wrote:Hello, Yesterday People responsible building Arch linux packages have changed their Thunderbird build script so it now depends on GTK3 rather than on GTK2. After this change, Orca does not activate browse mode when reading incoming messages. It is also not possible to change to browse mode manually. Writing messages is working fine. It appears something is not registered somewhere as pressing Orca+a while the document is in focus causes thunderbird to archive the message as if orca had not consumed the keypress. I have tried to prepare a debug out opening a message in thunderbird. I haven't pressed orca+a when message was shown. http://files.pvagner.tk/debug-2017-02-22-16:51:39.out Greetings Peter _______________________________________________ orca-list mailing list orca-list gnome org https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/orca-list Orca wiki: https://wiki.gnome.org/Projects/Orca Orca documentation: https://help.gnome.org/users/orca/stable/ GNOME Universal Access guide: https://help.gnome.org/users/gnome-help/stable/a11y.html Log bugs and feature requests at http://bugzilla.gnome.org
