Re: [orca-list] Default action for lists of objects

Referring to the first reply:
Actually the problem with the need to click the element is not itself
the fact that you have to click it. But, you need flat review to click
it, and it quite often does not go to the right element, and activating
by clickable lists probably works far more reliably, for some reason.

Orca doesn't currently override the behavior of enter. If you want to
click on something click on it. And yes, I know, NVDA overrides the
default behavior of enter, thus making it a GoodIdea(tm). So no need for
everyone to start a giant thread about that. <smiles>

Howdy,
For things like clickables, images, links, etc when brought up in a
list, could it be made so that the default action is activeate? I'm
always scrollowing down to the one I want and hitting enter, which I
guess cancels it maybe, because nothing happens. I then have to wait for
the list to load, and hopefully remember to either tab to activate, or
hit alt+a.
thanks
