Re: [orca-list] planning to revisit twitter, any tips?

Hi,

I tried Corebird, and although it's accessible, I wasn't all that impressed it has to be said (unless I'm being an idiot, which is entirely possible).

I know it's not much use to you yet, but I am starting work on what I hope will be a bare-bones Twitter client written in Python.

It will be totally accessible, and will just be a notebook view with your DMs, mentions and home timeline arranged in tabs. Each tab will just have a list where the tweets will appear in a configurable format. You'll be able to right click / applications key on the message you want to affect, so you'll be able to hit reply, retweet, quote, whatever.

Please let me know if this is something you are interested, and I can shift what I have to Github early, so people can try it and give me feedback.

Cheers,

Dear all,

I had used twitter more than few months back and I did not quite find it accessible.

I wish to know which GUI client I can right away use for tweeting and reading replies to my tweets and also some additional stuff?

Secondly, is there accessible version of m.twitter.com or some similar mobile addition?

I am campaigning for exclusive use of free software in the government run schools for the blind and also rural schools in India.

The media has tarted to cover my campaign and I now would need twitter for publicity.

So kindly share your experience with twitter.

happy hacking.

Krishnakant.
