Thanks for that sir.
I am a cybersecurity person who has the need to understand Linux. I have developed in several languages and
dealt with DOS, Windows, Unix on a limited basis and some Linux. I need to learn Linux and Unix in depth.
Where can I get my best lessons to become the best cybersecurity individual I can be? Thanks.

Hello all!
I'm interested in any advice for a blind person switching from Windows 7
and nvda to Linux and orca. I'm interested in all recommendations but
especially answers to the following:
Which desktop will work best with orca? My research indicates that
unity, gnome and mate are best, while xfce doesn't work so well. Which
of these three is most highly recommended for orca?
MATE is the closest from Windows. Hence we use it.
How can I get the best results out of orca with regards to speech
quality? Is it possible for sapi / nuance Daniel to connect to orca via
wine? And if so, are there step-by-step instructions anywhere to do this?
No. Mbrola is the better free (not-paid) speech. We're bkout releasing a
new speech synth for Linux, not-free as well, but it's the only quality
we have.
Test Svox Pico as well (free not paid).
Answers to these, or any general advice about Linux for blind users,
would be hugely appreciated.
Hope default Orca bindings will be fine for your user.
Regards,
Sam
