Hi,
You are probably right, when I tried it with espeak, it behaves the
same asi with Orca. So it is not the problem of Orca. Sorry then.
Thanks for clarifying this.

I don't know if this is an Orca issue or a
Speech dispatcher issue or an
Espeak issue.
When I use plural form of URL like this:
I have visited several URLs during the day.
Orca reads only URL and not URLs.
I'm pretty sure this is an eSpeak issue.
I'm using Speakup with eSpeakup (not even speech dispatcher) and I
get this too.
I also get it if I run:
$ espeak URLs
I started noticing when I upgraded to Debian Jessie which has
eSpeak 1.48.03. Don't know if it's been fixed since.
Geoff.
