Hi,
I think we're talking about a different issue here.
So we're going into Tools -> Add-ons, and it opens in a new tab. There
is a button "Tools for all add-ons", where we're supposed to find an
item "Install add-on from file". The problem is, that the button "Tools
for all add-ons" can not be activated with either space or enter.
However, it could be activated by routing the mouse pointer to it and
activating a left click with the Orca's commands, which indeed opens a
context menu.
There is another problem here, that this context menu doesn't gain focus
automatically, so it appears that nothing have happend.
Actually, this is some sort of web page and we're in browse mode at this
point. So if we switch to focus mode, we're able to navigate the
mentioned context menu with the arrow keys.
I.e. after clicking on "Tools for all add-ons", just switch to focus
mode and then use the arrows to navigate within the menu and select
"Install add-on from file".
After that, a "Select add-on to install" dialog will open. After you
choose the file with the add-on, you'll have to confirm the
installation. After the add-on is installed, you may need to restart
Thunderbird for the add-on to become active.
Best wishes,
Zahari

Firstly, make sure that add on is still supported. Thunderbird add-ons that I've used hae lost support as
version update often.
