Howdy, you have to activate "Caret in Readonly Mode" or something in the Writer settings in the category accessibility. this is deactivate by default (why ever). after check the checkbox (and maybe restart Libre/Openoffice a caret cursor should appear and you should be able to read the document. cheers Gesendet: Dienstag, 08. You can reproduce it very easily, just open some read-only document. Could you please look into it?
