I can confirm it's not limited to your cpu. I have a quad core intel i5
and it's slow as well. The weird thing is that visually the filtering is
almost instantaneous, it just takes orca a bit to read the first result.
Looking in debug logs it looks like orca might be being flooded with
events, because I see entries taht look like results are shown and then
disguarded as you type more. This does not seem to happen in cinnamon,
but that desktop is nowhere near ready for the average blind user yet.
